I would call ahead to make a reservation for that many people. They do accommodate large groups as well as having a private room for large groups as well.
To be comfortable for an evening out I would say dressy casual. Stylish Jean's and a nice shirt for men would fit in just as well as slacks a collard shirt and blazer. Just classy.
5pm - 11pm
Valet is available and there is limited street parking and numerous garages in the area.
A+++ service and environment! Food are very fresh and tasty. Especially the crab meat sauce aside with my today special fish is perfect match! Also good deal with oysters platter and white wine, only $50 a set!
Most times the food makes the meal.....tonight was an equal combination of a great waiter and his suggestions qnd excellent food. We will definitely be back!
Happy hour it’s always 5 o”clock somewhere Great service -great bartender Olivia -great Martini -and special thanks to Andres for keep the bar area clean.
Great food and service. Celebrated wedding dinner there recently. It was the perfect decision!
So we wandered into here just looking for some good seafood near the end of the day.We were blown away by the drinks! The espresso martini is just amazing! Then our food comes and it is just perfect. Their crab cakes are fantastic and their tuna was delicious. The menu changes based on the availability of fish so that ensures you are getting fresh fish every day.
Good was good waiter was ok. Overall good experience.
We love this place. In town twice a year with our team. This is where we stop everytime. Jeanette and her team are unbelievable. The seafood is incredible. Chicken fried lobster is indescribable. .
I can't say enough wonderful things about this place! It is a bit pricey, but it is worth every dollar. The food was phenomenal, our waiter was fantastic, and for a higher end restaurant, it was very laid back and comfortable. Do yourself a favor, and give this place a try.
Great seafood and baked Alaska! It's a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. The rockfish and scallops I got was phenomenal and the brussel sprouts and mac & cheese we got was very good too. The baked Alaska is great and something worth getting if you like cake and ice cream together.
Great dinner, excellent staff, the place to go for a special night out.
Bad service! Waitress “Tor” seemed bothered and like me and my friend were bothering her.
Bottom line: pricey for steak quality. That's what I really look for personally. Gluten line: accommodating. Long line: somewhat disappointed. I'm ok paying top dollar for quality but they seem pricey just to be pricey. The restaurant seems to be more about the experience, which is frankly OD. Might be nice for a first date or something
The food was amazing, service was phenomenal, and the atmosphere was just so warm. Spendy but worth it
Attended an organized group event here. The food was absolutely delicious, but the service was extremely slow. I probably attribute this to serving such a large group (~50 people), and so I wouldn’t recommend hosting a large event here. For reference, cocktail hour was an hour and a half because we were seated 30 min late, it took another 50 min to bring out preselected soup/salad, and then another 45 min to bring out entrees. To be fair, some groups might prefer this speed! I will probably return to try the normal seating experience, because again, food was fantastic.
One of my favorite places in Bmore for a fancy date
Mario was great. Will be back
My husband and I love the food and service at Oceanaire! Our server was attentive and super friendly. Our soup, salad and appetizers were served fresh and our entrees were served hot and prepared to perfection. Our drinks from the bar were made with top shelf ingredients and their signature Oceanaire cocktail is delicious. The raw oysters were amazing.
Everything was perfect! Food tastes amazing. My new favorite place.
First visit! Overall I experienced a really nice vibe, great food. It is pricey, but that is to be expected. Had a nice meal at the bar with friends before a movie. Asked for directions to the bathroom and someone separate from the bar basically accompanied me 75% of the way to the bathrooms down a hallway with motion activated lighting (that cont. in the bathroom). That was real cute Oceanaire 👏💯👏..Great staff, timely food⬅️ Yeah, I'll be back!
Still one of the best see food establishments in Baltimore. Great choice of oysters (if you are into that). I give it 5 stars because of consistency in dish prep, delivery and taste. A bit on the pricey side as a dinner for 2 with drinks can easily go above $150... but it is so worth it...😀
By far the best experience I've ever had at a restaurant. Food is expensive and it is well worth it. I've had seafood but not quite like this. Everything was full of flavor and so tender. I am a truck driver so I not able to spend much time with my fiance. The guy working at the front who seated us acknowledged that we were celebrating a late valentine's day so he went to the back and got a menu from valentine's day week that was wrapped up in a bow. That meant a lot to us. The service was excellent and i would recommend anyone to dine at this place.
The service, food, and atmosphere is great. Had chicken fried lobster tails. Very good. Would never have thought of eating lobster that way. Pricey but worth it.
Oceanaire Seafood always delivers! We had the octopus and the lobster bisque for appetizers. Both were great and I don't normally like octopus. My date had the chicken fried lobster and grits. It was to die for! I had the peppercorn encrusted swordfish. Perfectly cooked. The grilled brussel sprouts with hazelnuts are delicious. Leave room for the bread pudding. The service, as always, was spot on.
Really excellent service and Oceanaire has our favorite Key Lime pie. We were celebrating our anniversary and the bartender comped our pie which was a very nice unexpected surprise. We will definitely be back!
My complements to the chef for whipping up an amazing vegetarian dish. I was thought they only had pasta primavera for a vegetarian option, but the chef blew me away with stuffed green peppers rice dish. Bottom line, they know how to take care of everyone in the party.
We decided to go during Restaurant Week so we made a reservation for 8pm. Pulled up to the door for valet parking which was surprisingly only $9.00. Very nice decor. We only had a 5 minute wait before being escorted to a booth by the window. Our waiter took 15 minutes to come over but once our service started he was there. I ordered house salad and my date had calamari, which I highly recommend trying. Delicious. We ordered crabcakes and glazed salmon for our entree. For dessert I had the homemade chocolate chip cookies and my date had the key lime pie. Dinner was good.
Alway a great place for a special occasion.
Picked up food for my wife's birthday and it was a home run. Delicious.
Pros: really great service from Jeannie. Could not have been better. Nice atmosphere and beautiful furnishings. Cons: the drinks and food were prettily presented but all mediocre with the sole exception of mashed potatoes with truffle oil, which were very good. Overall, things were a bit bland and considering the steep price, this is even more disappointing. Won’t return.
Delicious. Wonderful service. Beautiful setting. Personable. So accommodating for my many food allergies!
The food was very good and well seasoned. The desserts are huge and definitely worth the price. Our server Ashlee was on point and did a great job. They should consider changing the uniforms. The white overcoat over a tie and white shirt with a white apron is a little ridiculous. It looks like the servers should be working in a pharmacy. And they make them have clamps on their shirt as well in order to supply make shift bibs. This needs to change. Ashlee was great and the food as well. But the uniforms need an update.
We went here last night to celebrate a special occasion and had a beyond excellent time. Our server was so nice and helped us find the perfect drinks and food. He even surprised us by comping our oysters at the end of the meal because we were too full for dessert! Totally worth the money - would 110% go here again.
Drinks and Lobster was very good. So good we actually cancelled our other reservation the second night and went back to Oceanaire!
This place is super nice upscale restaurant. Everyone from the hostess to the bartender to the waiters were kind, attentive, and very helpful. I attend a private Birthday party, our waiter and waitress was wonderful they made sure to make each of the guests happy. No request was to big or small. The food was excellent, compliments to the chef. The restuarant has valet parking which was a huge convenience. I recommended this restaurant and will be returning again very soon. This restaurant is an excellent choice for date night, happy hour, and private dinner groups for any occasion. You will not be disappointed. I included a picture of my main course. I was delicious!!
The proteins are cooked and seasoned to perfection. The steak was flawless. However, the supporting starch sides and vegetables are really lackluster and leave more than a little to be desired. The restaurant is quite large, so don’t expect the same level of attention to cooking or service as you might find in a smaller restaurant. Overall, it was an overpriced meal for the quality of food we received. Remember that you’re also paying for the location when you dine here...
Doesn't get much better, food and service was outstanding.
